Youth Orchestra

Youth Orchestra - For ages 8 – 16. As a level 1 group, the orchestra acts as an introduction class for young musicians, most of whom have never played an instrument in a group before. As well as building sight reading and technical skills,
the youth orchestra builds confidence, musicianship, and readies young musicians for further improvement and study on their instruments. This is a full Orchestra for all instruments including: Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, Flute, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, F Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba, Drums, Percussion, The orchestra meets every Monday evening from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. fall semester begins Monday, Sept. 15., and is directed by Jon Laskin.
