The Temecula Valley International Jazz Festival has selected
legendary Jazz drummer Louie Bellson as one of this years recipients of the
annual Congressional Lifetime Achievement Award certificates July 14 along
with this year’s festival headliner Monty Alexander. Past recipients include:
Louie Bellson, Horace Silver, Sammy Nestico, Ernie Andrews, Monty Alexander,
Brian Auger, Marshall Hawkins, Richie Cole and Dick Berk.

The Temecula Valley International Jazz Festival in the sunny Southern California
Wine Country City of Temecula, located just over an hours drive South/East
from Los Angeles, and less than an hours drive North of San Diego on I-15.
It is a combination of "free" and "ticketed" events,
which will be held at various locations throughout the city. This event
is produced by Musicians Workshop, a California Non-Profit 501(c)(3) public
benefit corporation, and proceeds from this event will go towards the Temecula
Valley Cultural Arts & Music Center in Temecula.
