Ray Fuller
Ray Fuller, known to many as the ‘Weeper’,
is a veteran guitarist who has honed his craft in the service of the entertainment
industry’s top artists and commercial recordings for 30 years.
A diverse career spanning many genres of music from Country, Pop, Jazz and
R&B artists such as, Whitney Houston, Herbie Hancock, Anita Baker, with
many tours around the world.
Raised on Chicago’s Southside with 2 younger brothers
by his single teenaged parent mother.
Despite frequent alcoholism, violence and other socio-economical challenges,
Ray had a goal
At age 7, Ray was introduced to guitar by local musicians.
At 13, he began performing with them at Northwestern University and later,
at age 16, traveled the US with the Staple Singers.
Soon Ray was performing with the Chi-Lites, Dells and other Chicago-based
recording stars.
After touring South Africa in 1981 and witnessing oppression of Apartheid, Fuller relocated to California. Ironically, 10 years later he performed for and met Nelson Mandela in London, at his Freedom Concert and in 2006 celebrated his 30th year and 500th professional recording.
In 2003, Ray realized his true creative story had not been told and he was inspired to produce his 1st solo CD – The Weeper (a nickname given by mentor, producer/pianist George Duke).
Ray’s, 30 years of industry alliances, and numerous
peers in the latest satellite technologies, provided his opportunity to launch
Aray Artists Music, assuring the project’s integral vision.
To his credit, the independently produced CD received critical worldwide acclaim
and sales.

In more recent years of travel and touring, Ray has met or seen great disparity in the quality of life with those who use their time and creative talents to integrally serve others in need…
1n 2005, Fuller formed a 501c3, Weeper’s Friends CARES,
primarily to unite entertainment, community and business entities to provide
funds and awareness projects for youth agencies.
Just completed his term as President of a Riverside County Foster Youth Advocacy
Agency
Today, Ray ‘the Weeper’ Fuller, is now firmly established as world-class guitarist, recording artist and today, remains a tireless, outspoken advocate for IE’s ‘at-risk’ youth and families.
His long-awaited follow-up CD ‘Epiphany, will be released
in summer 2009
