The Jazz Band is also divided into two groups: Intermediate. Jazz Band and Advanced Jazz Band. The Intermediate Jazz Band is an introduction to playing in a group and focuses on musical skills related to playing in a group, such as dynamics, rhythm concepts, jazz history, and theory, while the Advanced Jazz Band is for very experienced musicians. Directed by Jon Laskin, the Intermediate. Jazz Band meets every Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., and the Advanced Jazz Band meets every Wednesday evening from 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Call for audition 909.678.2517
