Chorus is divided into three groups and is offered to any child or youth who loves to sing, and wants to improve their singing: Beginning Chorus for ages 4 - 6 Jr. Chorus for ages 7- 10 and an advanced Voice class will also be offered for ages 11 - 16. In addition to instruction in the mechanics of how the voice is used as an instrument, the chorus gives any child who loves to sing, the opportunity to discover a personal voice. It builds self confidence and social skills, while developing ear training and performance skills. Directed by Esther Dernbach, the Beginning Chorus meets every Thursday from 6pm -6:30Jr. Chorus meets every Thursday evening from 6:30p.m. – 7:20 p.m., and the Youth Chorus meets every Thursday from 7:30p.m. – 8:20p.m.- At Hillcrest Academy on Santiago Rd, Temecula.
